I’m writing with excitement, information, and dates for our 2017 Gainesville Girls Rock Camp! If you are interested in being part of camp this year, please carefully read the following information and add the pertinent dates below to your calendar. Camp:
Application forms for both sessions become available on our website and Facebook page on April 1st, 2017. Early consideration ends May 1st, after which time, applications will be first-come first-serve. Please try to get your applications in on time, we fill up every year.
Session 1 (13-17 year olds) Monday, June 12- Friday, June 16th at the United Church of Gainesville (1624 NW 5th Avenue) and a showcase on Saturday, June 17th at High Dive (210 SW 2nd Avenue)
Session 2 (9-13 year olds) Monday, July 10th-Friday, July 14th at the United Church of Gainesville (1624 NW 5th Avenue) and a Showcase on Saturday, July 15th at High Dive (210 SW 2nd Avenue)
Upcoming GGRC events:
Sat, March 25th at Depot Park, 10am-2pm, GGRC will be hosting Live Band Musical Chairs at 352Creates
Wed, March 29th at Santa Fe College, 10am-1pm, GGRC will be tabling at a Women’s History Month Involvement Showcase
Sat, April 1st applications for GGRC campers and volunteers will become available on our website and Facebook page
Sun, April 2nd 3pm-6pm, GGRC is hosting a Kids’ Music Fest in collaboration with Future Music Makers and MAMA’s Club
Sat, April 22nd 9:30pm, Boca Fiesta is hosting a Band Roulette Showcase that benefits GGRC
Fri, June 2nd 10pm, Loosey’s is hosting a 1980s Coverband Show and silent auction that benefits GGRC.

2017 SUMMER CAMP DATES!!

Hi GGRC friends and family, 2017 SUMMER CAMP DATES are here!
Session One (13-17 year olds) June 12-17th
Session Two (9-13 year olds) July 10-15th

Camp will be held once again at the UCG, 1624 northwest 5th avenue, Gainesville.

Camp is $200 with both full and partial scholarships available, so don’t let cost prevent you from applying!! Applications will available by the end of March, stay tuned!

Camp Session One is Now Full

Greetings GGRC friends and supporters. Our camp session one June 20th-25th for 9-13 year olds is now full! We have a waiting list and are no longer accepting applications. Session Two (for 13-17 year olds) is nearly full, but we will continue accepting applications for the session two waiting list. We have an awesome roster of girls this year and are so grateful for the Gainesville community’s continued interest and support in our camp!

1990s Tribute Coverband Show at Loosey’s 5/20/2016

Come relive the best of the 1990s as local feminist bands cover the sweetest girl groups and divas of the decade. Bands will be followed by 1990s karaoke. Spice up your life, you don’t want to miss it.

SUMMER 2016 DATES ANNOUNCED

**CAMP DATES ANNOUNCEMENT**
We are pleased to announce camp dates for Gainesville Girls Rock Camp, Summer 2016!
Session 1 (9-13 year olds) will be June 20-25th
Session 2 (13-17 year olds) will be July 11-16th
Both sessions will be held at the United Church of Gainesville, 1624 NW 5th Avenue with Saturday afternoon showcases at High Dive 210 SW 2nd Avenue.

Applications will be available to download on our Facebook page and website Friday, April 1st. The application deadline is Sunday, May 15th.

Registration is $200 with full and partial scholarships available.
